Ad Delay Troubleshooting
Ad Delay relies on Google AdMob to load an ad. If you reached this page, Refocus was unable to load one after multiple attempts.
The most likely causes are:
Google ads are unavailable in your country or region
A VPN, ad blocker, or privacy tool is blocking the ad
Your current network filters advertising traffic
No ad is temporarily available
1. Check Your Country or Region
Google AdMob is unavailable in some countries and regions.
If you are currently in a restricted location, Ad Delay cannot load an ad. Changing networks, disabling blockers, or trying again will not fix it.
View Google’s current AdMob country restrictions
2. Turn Off Your VPN or Ad Blocker
Temporarily turn off:
Your VPN
Device-wide ad or tracker blocking
Private or filtered DNS
Firewall or privacy-protection apps
Then return to Refocus and try Ad Delay again.
If you use a VPN, disconnect it completely. Some VPNs filter ads even when their ad-blocking feature appears to be disabled.
Safari-only content blockers normally do not affect ads inside Refocus.
3. Switch Networks
If you are using Wi-Fi, turn it off and try Ad Delay using mobile data.
Works on mobile data: Your Wi-Fi, router, or DNS is probably blocking ads.
Still does not work: A device-wide blocker, VPN, regional restriction, or temporary ad shortage may be responsible.
You can also try a different trusted Wi-Fi network.
4. Try Again Later
Google may occasionally have no ad available for your location, or its ad service may be temporarily unavailable.
Wait a while, then try Ad Delay again.
