Unblocking with Strict Mode

Unblocking does not always remove every block. If an active session uses Strict Mode, Refocus may keep blocking the apps or websites from that session even after you try to pause or unblock.

If Refocus says Strict Modes are still blocking apps, check the active session that includes those apps or websites.

“Unblock Limit” Strict Mode

With Unblock Limit, regular pauses are ignored for that session. Use Unblock to stop the session, then the session’s limits still apply: unblocks per day, max unblock duration, cooldown, and any NFC scan requirement.

“Always Block” Strict Mode

With Always Block, unblocking is disabled for that session. Apps and websites selected by that session stay blocked until the session ends or the Strict Mode is changed.
