Refocus - Privacy Policy

Labi, LLC (“Refocus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Refocus app, websites, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

We try to limit unnecessary data collection. We use information to provide and improve Refocus, show advertising where available, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, understand app performance, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Refocus, we may collect:

  • Account and contact information, such as your email address and account identifiers.

  • Subscription and purchase information, such as purchase status, subscription status, receipts, and transaction identifiers. For purchases processed through Apple or another app store, we do not receive your full payment card details.

  • Usage, analytics, and diagnostics information, such as feature usage, session events, install source, app version, device type, operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device identifiers, crash reports, performance data, logs, and error information.

  • Advertising and consent information, such as ad impressions, ad clicks or other ad interactions, rewarded ad status, ad consent choices, and advertising identifiers where allowed by your device settings.

  • Support information, such as messages, screenshots, files, or other information you choose to send us.

  • Blocking and Screen Time settings, such as blocked app or website selections, schedules, limits, strict mode settings, and location-based blocking settings.

  • Location-related information, if you enable location-based features, such as selected locations, radii, or permission status. You can control location permissions in your device settings.

Screen Time and Blocking Data

Refocus uses device-level APIs, including Apple’s Screen Time APIs where available, to provide app and website blocking, schedules, limits, and screen time features.

Refocus may store or sync the settings needed to provide these features. Detailed Screen Time activity reports are primarily processed on your device. We may receive related information if you choose to send it to us, such as in a support request.

We do not use or share the specific apps or websites you block in Refocus for advertising.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide, maintain, protect, and improve Refocus; show advertising where available; process subscriptions; restore purchases; provide support; analyze app performance; diagnose crashes; manage experiments and feature flags; measure attribution; prevent fraud or abuse; comply with law; and enforce our terms.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and advertising partners that help us operate Refocus, including analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, feature management, subscription management, advertising, attribution, support, payment, hosting, security, and app store providers.

Our service providers may access information as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Our websites and some third-party services may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, or similar technologies for analytics, advertising, security, preferences, attribution, or support.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention, Deletion, and Choices

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide Refocus, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent fraud or abuse.

You may request deletion of your account or personal information from within the app, if available, or by contacting us at hello@refocusapp.co. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You can contact us at hello@refocusapp.co to make a request.

Information stored only on your device can usually be deleted by changing your app settings, deleting app data, or uninstalling the app.

You can control certain data collection through device settings and choices offered in the app, including location permissions, notification permissions, ad consent choices where available, tracking permissions, and any analytics or account controls offered in the app.

Children

Refocus is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date below.
