Browser Support (Mac)

Refocus for Mac supports the following browsers:

• Safari [primary]

• Chrome [primary]

• Arc

• ChatGPT Atlas

• Brave

• Comet

• Dia

  • Dia provides limited support so the experience is not as optimal as for other browsers

• Firefox (setup instructions)

• Opera

• Opera GX

• Opera Air

• Vivaldi

• Zen (follow the Firefox setup instructions - the extension works with only one browser at a time)

Safari and Chrome represent 90% of the browser market share so bug fixes are prioritized for those browsers. If you are experiencing issues with some browser, please use the “Contact Us” button in the app so the problem can be fixed.

Notes on other browsers:

• To block unsupported browsers, use the app blocking feature.

• DuckDuckGo: unfortunately, this browser also does not support AppleScript. Please message DuckDuckGo and ask for the support. There’s a long-term chance this could be supported via Chrome Extensions.
