Refocus - Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to the Refocus app, websites, and related services (“Refocus”). Refocus is provided by Labi, LLC (“Labi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Refocus, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Refocus.

Refocus

Refocus helps you create focus sessions, block or limit apps and websites, use Strict Mode tools, view reports based on available activity, and use related focus tools.

Some features depend on Apple Screen Time, Family Controls, Device Activity, Managed Settings, macOS permissions, browser extensions, network access, App Store services, and other third-party systems. These systems may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, changed, restricted, or interrupted. Refocus may not block or report every app, website, category, notification, purchase restriction, device behavior, or activity event in every situation.

You are responsible for choosing your settings, keeping your device secure, and using Refocus appropriately. Some features may require an account, supported device, current app version, internet access, browser compatibility, or specific permissions.

Do not rely on Refocus for emergencies, safety-critical purposes, or as a substitute for professional advice.

Eligibility

Refocus is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use Refocus. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Refocus only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

License and Use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Refocus on devices you own or control.

You may not use Refocus unlawfully, interfere with Refocus or third-party systems, access Refocus without authorization, or abuse, disrupt, or overload Refocus.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code from, or create derivative works based on Refocus, except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

Refocus and its software, design, trademarks, content, and related intellectual property belong to Labi, LLC or its licensors.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Refocus if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect Refocus, users, or third-party systems.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Refocus may offer paid features, including subscriptions such as Refocus Pro and one-time purchases such as lifetime access or Strict Mode reset features. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, included features, renewal terms, and purchase terms are shown before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Apple purchases are billed by Apple and managed through your Apple Account. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund past charges or one-time purchases.

Some one-time purchases may be consumed when used and may not provide ongoing access.

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. We cannot directly issue App Store refunds. If another platform or payment provider is used, that provider’s payment, cancellation, and refund terms may apply.

If your subscription expires, is canceled, is refunded, is revoked, or cannot be verified, you may lose access to paid features.

Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Refocus from Apple’s App Store, these additional terms apply.

These Terms are between you and Labi, LLC only, not Apple. Labi, LLC, not Apple, is responsible for Refocus, its content, maintenance, support, warranties, product claims, legal and regulatory claims, privacy claims, and intellectual property claims. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Refocus.

Your license to use Refocus is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by Apple’s usage rules, including Family Sharing or volume purchasing where applicable.

If Refocus fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for Refocus, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Refocus.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Refocus, including Apple’s terms and any applicable browser, payment provider, or platform terms.

Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Disclaimers and Liability

Refocus is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that Refocus will improve productivity, reduce screen time, prevent access to apps or websites, protect your device, or operate without errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labi, LLC will have no liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of or related to Refocus or these Terms, including indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, device functionality, or device access. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. You should review this page periodically for changes. Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of Refocus after an update is posted means you accept the updated Terms.

General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Labi, LLC about Refocus.
